About the game

Every great dragon
starts somewhere.

Evox Ascension is a solo-developed, single-player pixel-art platforming adventure. Hatch into a colourful fantasy world filled with hidden paths, unusual creatures and powers to discover. Explore with fluid, momentum-driven movement as you grow from a tiny hatchling into a powerful dragon.

Consume special items to gain temporary powers, and defeat bosses to unlock permanent abilities. Choose your abilities and augmentations at a Dragon’s Vein to find new ways to move and fight. Along the way, meet friendly characters, encounter dangerous creatures and challenge formidable bosses.

What makes the journey

• Movement with momentum. Run, roll, jump and explore branching paths through a pixel-art world.
• Powers to discover. Abilities including Blaze Roll, Ice Dive and Burrow change the way you approach the world.
• A dragon that changes with you. Augmentations such as Flight and Hourglass bring new ways to move and new forms to explore.
• A cast with character. A welcoming village, an angry Broodmother and a rather theatrical Phoenix.
